MDL paid interim dividend of Rs. 92.56 crores to Govt.

New Delhi: Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. paid interim dividend of Rs. 92.56 crores to the Govt. of India for the financial year 2020-21. Vice Admiral Narayan Prasad, IN (Retd.), Chairman and Managing Director, MDL today handed over the cheque to the  Defence Minister, Rajnath Singh in New Delhi in the presence of Secretary (Defence Production), Raj Kumar and Sanjay Jaju, Additional Secretary (Defence Production) on 03rd March 2020.

With this MDL has paid a total dividend of Rs. 138.73 cores to the Govt. of India during the financial year 2020-21 including final dividend of Rs. 46.17 crores for the financial year 2019-20.

Company has declared interim dividend of Rs. 109.11 crores @ 54.10 % of equity capital for FY 2020-21, Govt. of India share being 84.83%.The Chairman also briefed the Defence Minister about the delivery of the 3rd   Scorpene Submarine KARANJ due for commissioning on 10th March 2021 and commencement of sea trials of first ship Visakhapatnam of Project P-15B which is due for delivery later this year.
